Join Us To Make A Movie

Surviving a brush with death and emerging out the other side, Robert was pushed out of the life of a corporate lawyer and thrown headfirst into the world of arts.

The tumultuous event has pushed him towards a life of art and creating for the benefit of all those who care to enjoy it.

In 2023, director, Robert dos Santos stood in the Binnekring at AfrikaBurn and was hit with a fully fledged story, as if from somewhere else.

This movie is a reflection of his journey in allegorical form whereby a tumultuous event (the end of the world) thrusts Tom (boring lawyer Robert) to chasing after and rescuing his sister Danni (exciting artist Robert).

Our film follows this fantastical story and the beautiful change which can happen in extreme circumstances.

Our Story.

In 2023, writer/director, Robert dos Santos stood in the Binnekring at AfrikaBurn and was hit with a fully fledged story, as if from somewhere else.

Surviving a brush with death and emerging out the other side, Robert was pushed out of the life of a corporate lawyer and thrown headfirst into the world of arts.

The massive change has pushed him towards a life of art and creating for the benefit of all those who care to enjoy it.

This movie is a reflection of that journey in allegorical form whereby a tumultuous event (the end of the world) thrusts Tom (boring lawyer Robert) to chasing after and rescuing his sister Danni (exciting artist Robert).

Our Story.

The world is ending, and people are going about it in completely different ways. Some people are losing control, some people are living out their final fantasies, some people are being with the ones they love, and some people are pretending nothing is wrong at all.

Danni lives with her parents, who pretend that everything is going to be okay, but she knows that this is not the truth. So instead of staying at home and pretending to be okay, she sets off to the desert to enjoy the final days alive.

Her brother Tom learns about this, and fearing for her safety he is sent into the desert to find her and bring her back, all while battling the difficulties along the way.

Our story follows these two siblings who both learn to accept the inevitability of death, and how to love in the face of extreme hardship and fear.
